Shall We Dance?

A dynamic dance and theatre show for festivals, community events and site-specific performances. Day or night!

This is a mid-scale production for audiences of all ages, performed on and around a bandstand by a cast of six performers. The show is either toured with its own bandstand or can be adapted and made specific to a local bandstand. A live installation ‘The Documentation Booth’ also accompanies the performance and is open to members of the public; it displays photographs, sound recordings and video footage gathered during the research period.

Make Do and Mend

An uplifting and heart-warming small-scale production performed by a cast of four, suitable for indoors or out, from street theatre festivals to theatre spaces and village halls.

Make Do and Mend can be adapted to include local stories gathered from local people about their wartime experiences – as we are able to facilitate reminiscence sessions in care homes and day-care centres through one-to-one interviews.

The Button Museum

A charming small scale installation on wheels suitable for street arts festivals, reminiscence or school workshops.

The Button Museum forms part of the set of Make Do and Mend but can be toured individually as a small scale, interactive installation for events, suitable for audiences of all ages. The Museum can also be used as a workshop tool for gathering reminiscences for 'Make Do and Mend' or simply as a creative stimulus for workshops in schools and beyond.
